Grab A Scab

August 21, 2012 By MomMomOnTheGo

We recently came across Grab A Scab and their amazing fun products that every mom and kid are sure to love.

What Are Scabs?

Scabs are fun, permanent stick-on fabric patches. They’re fantastic for mending clothing and personalizing bags, water bottles, laptops, ipods, purses and hockey bags; virtually ANYTHING you can think of! If you have a hole in your jeans or want to show your creative side, scabs are a fun way to make stuff totally yours!

Scabs are extremely durable and machine washable. They won’t tear, fray or peel off easily.

Best of all, Scabs don’t require ironing or sewing. Just peel and stick!

I cannot even express how much I am in love with Grab A Scab. The other day my little one’s favorite, pink, waterproof, skating pants got their first tear in them. Bound to happen from the skates hitting them, but she wanted to have them fixed. I could have sewn them up and they would have had an ugly stitched repair right on the knee, but instead we reached for a Grab A Scab and did Eeny, Meeny, Miny, Moe to decide which one of the Scabs she was going to sport on her skating pants.

I have to admit that the Grab A Scab was so easy to use. It truly is just Peel and Stick. Just like that my little one’s skating pants are like brand new…well better than brand new now as they have character to them.

There are so many different type of Scabs that it is hard to narrow down which ones to get. There are Large Scabs, Button Scabs, Allergy Scabs, Anti-Bullying Scabs, Gogo’s Scabs, Mini-Monster Scabs, and Safety Scabs.

The Large Scabs measure 4 inches by 3 inches. They are ideal for mending children’s pants and of course decorating anything your heart desires.

Button Scabs measure 2 1/2 inches in diameter. These Scabs are ideal for mending small tears or personalizing and accessorizing belongings.

Allergy Scabs are approximately 2.5 inches in height.

Anti-Bullying Scabs measure 2 1/2 inches in diameter. Grab a Scab is pleased to donate $1 from the sale of every Ellen Scab to the Trevor Project, a non-profit organization that focuses on suicide prevention and creating inclusive environments for all youth, at home and at school.

Gogo’s Scabs! Kids of all ages have fun collecting, trading, playing and now wearing their favourite Gogo’s. Gogo’s Scabs measure 2 1/2 inches in diameter. Collect and wear your favourite Series 1 characters! Visit Gogo’s Crazy Bones for contests, games and all things Gogo’s related!

Mini-Monster Scabs measure 2 inches in diameter. These adorable little monsters are fun to collect and wear!

Safety Scabs are reflective! They are ideal for use on bicycles or outerwear.

Grab A Scabs are in my opinion very affordable and reasonably priced. They have helped save clothes in our house and that makes all of us happy. But don’t just take my word on how great Grab A Scabs are. Grab A Scab is a Parent Tested Parent Approved Winner and the Creative Child Magazine 2010 Product of the Year Award Winner.
