Summer time is fun time especially when you have an H20Go Fun Blobz.
When I came across the H20Go Fun Blobz, I thought right away that my Little One, who is 10, would have a blast with it in our yard. I broke out the Fun Blobz when we were having a number of my Little One’s friends over for a bbq on a hot summer’s night.

To set up the Fun Blobz, you put it out in the yard after you have ensured that there are no sticks, rocks, or other sharp objects under the area where the Fun Blobz will be placed. There is a drain valve underneath the Fun Blobz that you have to close. Then you open the top drain valve and fill the Fun Blobz up. The Fun Blobz will take 710 gallons of water and be about 6 inches in height when completely full. That is a huge amount of water and I was amazed by that. Of course, we were unable to fill it all the way the first time because I could not handle the “Is it ready?” questions anymore. 🙂
One of the awesome things about the Fun Blobz is that it is huge at 4 meters by 3 meters. I love the size. You can have a ton of kids out there playing on the Fun Blobz at one time.
For filling, I wish that the valve hooked a hose up to it. It would be easier to put a hose on there and let it fill up, but I am thinking that they did not do that so that people can’t hook a hose up and walk away, forgetting that they are filling the Fun Blobz up. So I understand why there is no hose attachment to fill it.
There is a hose attachment on the top of the Fun Blobz to put the sprinkler on there to spray on the mat. The sprinkler gets the Fun Blobz wet and slippery for slip and sliding fun.
We had 4 girls running, jumping, rolling, and sliding on our Fun Blobz. Sometimes they were going one at a time and sometimes they were all on there at once. The punishment that our Fun Blobz took was amazing. I was so impressed that it did not split or leak in any way.
To put it to even more of a test, we let the Fun Blobz sit in the crazy hot sun for a number of days, then we put the sprinkler on the cool the plastic down and let my daughter and a couple of her friends jump on it again. Even after warming the water and softening the plastic from sitting in the sun, it maintained its strength during play time.
I am beyond impressed by the durability of the material.
So as far as play time goes, the H20Go Fun Blobz is amazing. It is loved by my Little One and all her friends that come over.
So draining now….
I do wish that there was a hose attachment for draining the Fun Blobz. Again here, I can understand why there is not one as it might be used to fill the Fun Blobz which could become disastrous if the hose was left on and unattended. I do wish that I could hook something up to run the draining of the Fun Blobz to the driving and down. I have been draining the Fun Blobz over a number of days to ensure that the 710 gallons empty a bit at a time so that we are not flooding our neighbors out.
After the Fun Blobz is drained, I will leave it in the sun to evaporate the bits of humidity and water inside before storing it away. I have not gotten this far as of yet though.
I totally recommend the H20Go Fun Blobz. It is age ranked for 3 and older and I agree with this age ranking. Just ensure if the Fun Blobz is left out full and in the sun, that the mat is cooled down before little tender feet head out to play on it.
