HEXBUG makes quite a number of products in their entire lineup and we just checked out the HEXBUG nano Space Cosmic Command.
Now when we put our HEXBUG nano Space Cosmic Command together we freestyled it a bit instead of following the instructions to a T. We liked making the HEXBUG nano Space Cosmic Command our own command center, designed how we wanted to as we went along. So our HEXBUG nano Space Cosmic Command in the photo above is not exactly how the one on the HEXBUG website looks. We have lift-off with the nano Space Cosmic Command playset! Create a narrative for your nano bug and watch it journey into a deep space exploration. Other features include a rotating gravity trainer, air lock passage, and ion cannon!

The recommended age says 3 years old and up. The young ones will no be able to put the set together. There are also very tiny pieces in the set so keep that in mind when deciding if it is right for your little ones. I think that kids ages 5 and older will enjoy the set, but even at this young age, building the set will require help from a parent or older sibling.
Once built, there is fun to be had with the 2 HEXBUGS as they make their way around the Space Cosmic Command. There are passages to go through, doors to be moved, an elevator to go up and down… The HEXBUGS go in little mini ships and can wander around, or in the trucks and move them around. There is room for one HEXBUG in the large rocket ship.
The HEXBUG nano Space Cosmic Command comes ready to go once put together as the HEXBUGS come with batteries.
The set was easy to clip the pieces together and they are easy to get apart so you can build it, again and again, in different ways. If you get more than one Nano Space set, you can keep your space center growing.
We have always liked the HEXBUG products. They are fun to play with and race around whether in a playset that they come with or around the house. They move quite quickly and are great at getting around.
