My Little One decided on a purple base, purple water, and yellow wax that shows up as yellow and orange when sitting in the purple water.

My Little One has run her Lava Lamp for about a month and she has had no problems with it. The lamp is beautiful, the wax is really active when it is heated up from the bulb. The bulb has lasted and is a size that is available at our local hardware store for when we need new ones.
My Little One and I both like the soothing and relaxing effect of resting and watching the warm wax move around. It adds great character to her newly decorated room as well.
