
THE LEGO® STORE CELEBRATES NEW LOCATION IN GUILDFORD TOWN CENTRE EXPANSION WITH MASTER BUILDER EVENT

SURREY, B.C. – September 17, 2013 – Starting this Friday, September 20 through Sunday, September 22 Guildford Town Centre will be celebrating the grand opening of its new The LEGO® Store with a LEGO® Master Builder Event. LEGO® Master Builder, Chris Steininger, will be in the shopping centre’s Centre Court constructing an incredible eight-foot tall replica of the Hulk™.
The new LEGO® store, one of 70 new stores in Guildford’s recently opened, $280 million expansion, features an assortment of products covering nearly every square inch of space. The store’s features include the popular “Pick-A-Brick Wall”, where guests can hand pick and purchase specific LEGO® bricks and elements in a variety of colors and shapes in bulk. The “Living Room” feature is an interactive play area prominently positioned in the center of the store, giving customers a chance to get “hands-on, minds-on” with LEGO® products. Finally, a “Brand Ribbon” runs the circumference of the store, and features LEGO® model displays, company history and fun facts to entertain guests.

Please arrive at the entrance next to CIBC and Kin’s Farm Market. Enter parking lot from 152nd StreetShoppers and media alike are invited to join LEGO® and Master Builder Chris Steininger and lend a hand in constructing a larger than life 8-foot tall Hulk model, made entirely out of LEGO® bricks.
