When I was a kid I absolutely loved remote controlled products. Even to this day, I find them fun. 🙂 Needless to say that when we got the Little Tikes Tire Twister Lights RC toy to put to the test, we were all pretty excited.
Little Tikes Tire Twister Lights
The Little Tikes Tire Twister Lights is the biggest, baddest, wildest wheel ever- with lights and sounds! Light up the action with back-flips, spin outs and flip-outs, all with an easy to steer remote control. Take it for a ride in the dark for the ultimate light show!
Available at Amazon, Indigo, Toys R Us, Loblaws, and Walmart
• Place the RC car in the wheel – make it go forwards, backwards and even spin 360 degrees!
• The RC car also does backflips inside the tire and the wheel can reverse directions
• Remove the RC police car from the wheel for more wild and fun action!
There is a ton to love about the Little Tikes Tire Twister Lights…..
*The car can be used in the big wheel/tire or on its own.
*Simple remote control with only two directional controls.
*Car can do flips
*Big tire/wheel spins and lights up.
*Fun to drive in daylight and in the dark.
*Easy to wipe down
The Little Tikes Tire Twister Lights is recommended for ages 3 and older. I think that a 2-year-old would even love the product. The younger kids will need some assistance in learning the remote probably at first just like with any remote. But you can actually just put the toy down, hand them the remote, and let them learn through trial and error.
I have read a number of reviews on this product and there have been a couple of people that have said the remote is difficult. I do not understand this as there are in total three buttons on the remote: the on/off switch, and two directional buttons that can only be pushed forward and back. We did not find the controls confusing at all. The good thing is, if there is a learning curve for the remote control for your little one, the product is so fun that they will probably stick with it until they get the hang of it.
For batteries, it takes six “AA” Batteries in total. You need two batteries for the remote and four batteries for the car.
I never tested the Tire Twister Lights on a carpet, but have read that it works on carpet. I cannot attest to this though so if you have carpet, make sure to go read a few reviews where people have used it on a carpet. I can tell you it flies on tile and laminate flooring. 🙂

They are always looking to do that little extra for what is normally a regular product and the Little Tikes Tire Twister Lights does just that.
