Where do you start with a product that does so much. Built in lullabies are perfect if you have a stirring baby or even to get them to rest and fall asleep. Built in soft night light to gently light the room. A camera!!!! I always wanted a monitor with a camera. Two way radio so you can talk to your Little One which is great for reassuring them if they wake and you are on your way.
I have read a few reviews about reception issues. If you experience any reception issues, I would check what else you are running in your home. Even my laptop will loose its Wi-Fi signal on occasion if someone uses our microwave and my laptop is too close to it. Our wireless devices sometimes have interfering signals and you can solve this problem by eliminating the other item that is interfering.
I have also read a complaint about the sound the monitor makes when searching for a signal. I disagree that this is a shortcoming. I want to know if my monitor is needing to reestablish a connection. If the monitor does not tell me that it is reestablishing a connection, I will not know that I cannot hear my Little One.
The one thing that people might see as a shortcoming is an 8 hour battery life. Please note that the battery life is 8 hours if you leave it on video all the time. You can increase the battery life to approximately 10 hours if you use just audio. I would not leave the monitor on video all the time anyway as there is no need for video if I am not actually looking at the unit or if I am asleep. So to me, there is enough battery life to get through the night. You can also always run both parts of the unit on an AC adapter.
I also like that the Sweet Peek is expandable. You can expand this monitor by adding up to four wireless baby cameras.
The Lorex Baby Sweet Peek monitor really has every feature you can think of. I cannot even think of one thing I wish they would add!
