If you follow me regularly, then you have probably already read my review of the Magformers Light Show set. It is a pretty awesome magnetic building set with a ton of pieces and a light up piece.
I got pretty excited about the next Magformers set called Inspire Design that we tested out. The reason for my excitement you ask? Well, the Magformers Inspire Design set comes in colors that will be appealing to girls. That is right, a set aimed at building those castles for princesses, purses, and more…..
The Magformers Inspire Design set comes with 62 pieces all in pink, purple, and teal. The set also comes with what Magformers refers to as Designer shapes such as the trapezoid, isosceles triangle, and diamond.
My Little One loves her Inspire Design Magformers set. She has played with it quite often. She actually just packed up the set after playing with it for over an hour. She was also playing with it last night. She made a castle for Queen Guacamole, a dolphin, bridge, and more.
The magnets in the Magformer sets are quite strong. It is easy to use the pieces to build objects and the building helps encourage kids to think as they build. Of course, imaginative play is also encourage through building with Magformers sets.
I really like the quantity of pieces in the Magformers Inspire Design set. It seems like quite a few to allow you to make just about anything you can think of. I also love the different shapes in the Inspire Design set as they allow for more creativity and uniqueness compared to the standard block or square shape.
My Little One really loves the girl colors of the Inspire Design set.
I love products that are educational such as Magformers. The Magformers sets get your little ones thinking, building, using fine motor skills, and engaging in imaginative play all while having a ton of fun. For all those reasons, Magformers is the perfect product in my books. The only tough thing about Magformers, is trying to nail it down to just one set to get as they have what seems like endless choices, from beginner, to expert sets.
I highly recommend you check out Magformers. Magformers is the type of product that seems to come out a lot in our house. It is durable, easy to clean, and I can see this as a keep it type item that gets passed down through generations.
