My Very Good, Very Bad Cat

May 24, 2016 By MomMomOnTheGo

Oh, those very good, very bad lovable cats!
Chicken Soup for the Soul celebrates 101 of our wonderful, wacky, feline friends
and supports the American Humane Association with royalties from its new book

CSS My Very Good Very Bad Cat

COS COB, Conn. – What has the cat done now? You’ll recognize your own feline friends in this new collection of stories about how very good and very bad our lovable cats can be. From cats with nine lives to cats that save lives, from cats that wreck houses to cats that repair families, and from cats that crack us up to cats that act like therapists, you’ll appreciate your own for its unique skills and intuition.

Chicken Soup for the Soul: My Very Good, Very Bad Cat (Chicken Soup for the Soul Publishing, LLC; Amy Newmark; foreword by Robin Ganzert; February 9, 2016, 978-1-61159-955-8, $14.95) will have cat lovers laughing and commiserating, with its 101 hilarious, touching, and sometimes mind boggling stories about all the very good, very bad, and simply amazing things that our nevertheless
endearing cats do!

“If you love humorous antics and heartwarming adventures, be prepared to fall in love with these stories about our goofy, ornery, clever, and absolutely adorable cats,” says Robin Ganzert, President and CEO of American Humane Association, who wrote the foreword for the book. Chicken Soup for the Soul is donating the royalties from the book to the American Humane Association, along with the royalties from its other new book, Chicken Soup for the Soul: My Very Good, Very Bad Dog. This is the second pair of books about cats and dogs that Chicken Soup for the Soul has published with royalties going to the American Humane Association. This effort is part of the company’s widespread support for animal shelters and pet adoption, including the donation of Chicken Soup for the Soul pet food and books to
shelters across the country.

In keeping with Chicken Soup for the Soul’s support for pet adoption and shelters, the 101 stories chosen for the book from thousands of submissions are not only inspirational and fun, but many of them also feature adopted cats, including black cats and senior cats, the two categories of cats that are often left behind at shelters. Each chapter is preceded by a compelling photo of a cat or kitten adopted from a
shelter by a Chicken Soup for the Soul employee or family member.

101 entertaining stories about amazing cats—and support for a great cause. You can’t go wrong with this new bestseller from Chicken Soup for the Soul—for yourself and for every cat lover on your gift list!

ABOUT CHICKEN SOUP FOR THE SOUL

Chicken Soup for the Soul, the world’s favorite and most recognized storyteller, publishes the famous Chicken Soup for the Soul book series. With well over 100 million books sold to date in the U.S. and Canada alone, more than 250 titles, and translations into more than 40 languages, “chicken soup for the soul” is one of the world’s best-known phrases and is regularly referenced in pop culture. Today, 23 years after it first began sharing happiness, inspiration and hope through its books, this socially conscious company continues to publish a new title a month, but has also evolved beyond the bookstore with super premium pet food, television shows and movies, and a variety of other digital content and licensed products, all inspired by stories, as it continues “changing the world one story at a time®.”

I love Chicken Soup for the Soul books and I especially love stories about cats. We have 4 cats in our house and are all about our furry children. 🙂

In My Very Good, Very Bad Cat, the 101 short stories are divided into the following categories:

*My Ornery Cat
*My Goofy Cat
*My Healer Cat
*My Surprising Cat
*My Endearing Cat
*My Clever Cat
*My Therapist Cat
*My Hunter Cat
*My Nanny Cat
*My Heroic Cat

I loved all the stories. I certainly could relate to many of them from happenings with our feline family members.

Cuties

Our orange buddy is especially talented with opening all the doors in the house. Was so cute, until he started opening the kids’ rooms in the middle of the night!

My Very Good, Very Bad Cat is a delightful read. They are stories that will make you laugh and just all around enjoy cats.

What I absolutely love is that the proceeds from this book go to the American Humane Association. I absolutely love companies that use royalties from a product to support wonderful causes, especially our furry friends.

You can find this wonderful book along with all Chicken Soup for the Soul books in your local book stores.
