Nanoblock is a micro sized building block that was first introduced in the Japan market in 2008. Since then, Nanoblock has become an award winning toy product with a large line of themed building sets.
This is the first time that I have been introduced to Nanoblocks. We do like building sets in our house and the micro sized Nanoblock sets are more challenging. I also like the various themed sets from animals, to objects, buildings, and more.
I want to show you two sets that I think are very awesome, but I do not have as of yet…….
You can see from the bridge above that the pieces are micro sized and that the end result is a very textured type object. I think they look really neat and they are great mini sets to build. They also have a ton of detail.
The piano is a cute little micro building set. I like the detail put into this set and that the piano is open so you can see inside.
My favorite Nanoblok out of the three we have is the wolf. I love wolves and the Nanoblock wolf is awesome. It is fun to build and the end result is wonderful.
The wolf is a 130 piece mini set. The pieces are micro indeed and can become more challenging the bigger your hands are.
The other two Nanoblock sets we have are also mini sets. The first one is an Electric Guitar….
The Electric Guitar is also 130 micro pieces.
The last Nanoblock mini set we have is called the Galah which is a bird.
The Galah is 70 micro pieces.
There quite a number of different Nanoblock sets. Some are quite large sets as well and would be quite the fun project to build. Check out this Himeji-castle…
The micro sized pieces make the Nanoblock sets challenging. It is a great solo project or something that families can do together.
As Nanoblocks originated in Japan, they are distributed throughout the world by different companies. In Canada, Nanoblocks are brought to you by RPToys. In Canada you can find NanoBlocks at Chapters and online at Amazon.
It does not surprise me at all the Nanoblocks has won awards. They are great sets for fine motor skills, thinking skills, and fun. I could see many hobbyists, young and old, collecting and building Nanoblocks.
