I am on my theme again of our families chemical free challenge that we have been undertaking in over the last few months now. I keep saying that I thought this might be a hard challenge and have been surprised at how easy and rewarding this challenge can actually be.
The products that I have been reviewing lately have been for the most part ones that get those chemicals out of your cleaning the house lineup. But I want to change pace here and talk about the Norwex Body Pack Vintage set.
So here was my worry about trying to be chemical free for hygiene….do I really get clean without soap?! Ahhhhh!
Okay so first of all, we use soap but it is a specialty bar of soap that is all natural because lets face it, to psychologically feel clean there are just some areas that you want to use a nice gentle soap. That is for another time though. I want to share how the Norwex Body Cloth fit into all of our health and hygiene cleaning routines…..
For myself, I have never been able to use any products on my face. I have only ever been able to clean my face with water. If I put anything on my face, my perfect skin would break out. My face just likes straight water and nothing else. With the Norwex Body Cloth, I feel like the cloth and straight water gets my face feeling refreshed and clean. It is a wonderful feeling. The cloth is a combination of a soft, gentle feel with a texture that also feels like you are gently scrubbing your skin clean. It is so refreshing and feels spectacular every morning in the shower. I also use the Body Cloth on my arms, legs, stomach, and back….you get the picture. Do I was some areas with my all natural soap still, yep, because it is just a personal choice for feeling clean for me.
My Little One has horrific eczema and anything that touches her skin needs to be all natural. The slightest chemical or fragrant product and BAM, eczema. We put the Body Cloth to the test and when she had some eczema break out from sweating at her sports and the elastic in her sports pants mixing with the sweat cause a break out of eczema. We treated the eczema with just water and a Norwex Body Cloth. We gently cleaned the area for a couple of days and I was amazed that it cleared her significant outbreak up so rapidly. Normally we would have been weeks trying this eczema product and then the next eczema product, just trying to find one that would ease the outbreak. This time around and since this instance, just a Norwex Body Cloth and water and within the first day there is evidence of relief and in a few days it is usually completely gone. For anyone that has a little one that suffers with eczema, you know how awful it can be so imagine how amazing this solution is!
Another specific use we have put the Norwex Body Cloths to work for is tween and teenage hormone induced acne. Just the cloth and water on the face and it helps with those little bumps that appear and can explode into full on acne for kids as they go through puberty. My Little One already knows that the morning and night time routine is to take the Norwex Body Cloth and clean her face with just water. She makes sure to focus on that t zone that can be a problem. It has controlled her form having any issues of acne that looked like wanted to try and surface. We nipped that in the butt right away and defeated it in the first instance. She now enjoys beautiful blemish free skin with her routine.

Oh and yes, for those that wear makeup, you can remove your makeup with the Body Cloth. Imagine the cost savings on makeup removal products and the decrease in harsh chemicals that you are putting on your skin.
We have the Vintage collection that is pictured above. We really need more of these amazing Body Cloths and I want the Body Pack Vibrant next. I love the colors in this set even more as they are bright and fun.
