Dusting….awww a four letter word right?! 🙁
Seems like I start dusting at one end of the house and by the time I get to the other end, it is time to start again. Argh! Everywhere I turn there is dust, dust, and more dust. Worst of all, I am allergic to dust and just want it gone.
I have always hated dusting because it just seems that the cloth is always dirty, dust is flying and making me sneeze, it just is not a lot of fun.
I have tried various dusting mitts and cloths in the past and have not thought much of them. They were just fancy shaped or fancy named cloths but that was about it. So honestly, when I came across the Norwex Dusting Mitt, I thought yeah right, been there done that before!
The Dusting Mitt can be used wet or dry and is ideal for quick, chemical-free dusting throughout the house, including blinds, screens and other hard-to-clean areas. With its thick texture; dense, plush fibers and unique mitt design, the Dusting Mitt attracts and holds dust and allergens and won’t let them go. BacLock™*; in the cloth—our micro silver antibacterial agent—goes to work to self- purify and inhibit bacterial odors, mold and mildew growth within the mitt.
26 cm x 14 cm / 10.24″ x 5.51″
Key Features
Contains Norwex’s exclusive BacLock™ agent
Thick, plush fibers attract and hold dust for a long-lasting clean
Can be used dry for dusting or wet for general cleaning
Open spaces in the fibers created by the splitting process allow the mitt to lift away maximum dust and dirt.Key Benefits
No need for waxy solutions that can dull furniture, or harsh chemicals that can harm your family’s health
Saves money by eliminating expensive dusting products and furniture polish
Eliminates residual “chemical muck” left behind by typical cotton cloths and harsh cleaning products
The ultra-soft and fine microfiber is woven into a higher pile for a more powerful static charge to attract and hold dust.
Traps dust and grime in the mitt and leaves surfaces cleaner, so you won’t have to clean as often.
Used dry for dusting, it creates static electricity that lifts the smallest particles of dust and dirt up into the cloth and prevents them from resettling back onto surfaces.
BacLock™, the micro silver agent in the cloth, goes to work with self-purification properties against mold, fungi and bacterial odor within 24 hours so that it is ready to use again. How to use
Use it dry to dust all surfaces, including mini-blinds, fans, lamps, banisters, chandeliers, plants, cupboards, vents, fireplace screens and more!
Before dusting electronics, turn them off for a while as the electrostatic charge they emit can hold dust to them, competing with the pull from the static electricity in the mitt.
For heavily soiled surfaces, such as blinds and screens, moisten the mitt or use a damp EnviroCloth™ and clean thoroughly.
Clean by shaking vigorously outside or by using the Rubber Brush.
Slightly dirty microfiber can be washed with Norwex Dishwashing Liquid under warm running water and used again before laundering. Rinse thoroughly after washing and air or machine dry.
A Dusting Mitt that has been used heavily should be laundered using Norwex Ultra Power Plus™, which contains no fillers. Do not use bleach, fabric softeners or dryer sheets.
Rinse thoroughly after washing and air or machine dry.
The first time I put on the Norwex Dusting Mitt I zipped through the house getting dust from here and there. I did the walls and was blown away from the dust I got off the walls themselves!
The dusting mitt was covered, on both sides! So off to clean it…..
It is pretty easy to get clean through just rinsing it and then letting it dry. If it is super dirty, then laundering it is the perfect solution, but do not use bleach, fabric softener, or laundry soaps full of fillers. If you use any of those products, you will just affect the functionality of your dusting mitt. Plus we are on a chemical free mission…..so all those products should be vanishing from the household, but those are future posts.
My favorite thing about the Norwex dusting mitt if I had to say just one thing……cleaning the screens. Now I do not have to take all the screens off every spring, lay them outside, get the hose and soap and get to scrubbing, rinsing, and drying. I can use the mitt and just wipe away the dust. It is magical and almost makes me like dusting. Okay maybe going a bit too far there.

The Norwex dusting mitt is the best dusting product I have come across to date and I love it. Best of all, the kids think the mitt is pretty fun and like to use it. Bonus!
