MomMomOnTheGo and family have started a journey to see how healthy, green, and chemical free we can become. I am going to share our journey with you over the next few weeks. Our journey will include a review of the products that we have been exploring and what we think of them.
Our chemical free journey started with a purpose a couple of weeks ago when I met Michelle Zhang from Chemical Crashers. Michelle is very inspiring in her chemical free journey and she finds her success in Norwex products.
We will go into more about Michelle later, but first I want to tell you about the first product that I tested out…..Norwex Natural Deodorant Stick.
I became worried about using non natural deodorant and antiperspirant when I started to get my pours in my underarms filling up. I know yuck right?! It felt really unhealthy.
So I tried numerous natural deodorants many that did not work and some that the natural ingredients to I had horrible allergic reactions to.
Then came my introduction to Norwex products. I noticed that Norwex had a Natural Deodorant Stick and thought well I have to give it a try, maybe it is the one……
I have been using the Norwex Natural Deodorant Stick for about two weeks now and I am happy to report I love the results. I do not have any allergies to the product, I still sweat like our bodies are supposed to, but I remain odor free….even with a good amount of activity. I also love that it is the texture of a traditional deodorant stick. It goes on smooth and feels great when on. I love that I can put it on in the morning and it lasts me all day long, no need to reapply for me. So in other words, the product feels great, works great for me, and I love it.

The Norwex Natural Deodorant Stick currently retails for $19.99 online which I find within the typical price range for natural deodorants.
As I have only used the Norwex Natural Deodorant Stick for a couple of weeks, I cannot attest to how long the stick lasts for. As I said though, I only have to put it on once a day so I can see it lasting quite awhile.
I am interested in trying the Norwex Crystal Deodorant as well. I have used another brand of Crystal Deodorant and I love these type of products also. I like combining the Crystal Sticks with the Norwex Natural Deodorant Stick, applying the Crystal Deodorant first, and then the Norwex Deodorant Stick.

Why Norwex?
I wasn’t looking for a career in direct sales but Norwex came into my life unexpectedly and in perfect timing… I decided to be a single mom when my daughter, Jasmine, was only four months old. Unhappy in my marriage in Germany, I moved back to Vancouver, where I had grown up. I knew the best gift I could give my daughter was to be happy, no matter how hard it was going to be on our own.My mom had passed from cancer a few years back, my dad lived in China and I had no siblings – no family to help me during this challenging time. I couldn’t afford daycare, so to support ourselves financially, I started cleaning houses and would put Jasmine in a play pen while I cleaned. I worked my butt off and eventually started to burn out.
Waking up with numb and tingling hands because of the strain and tension in my shoulders from cleaning several times a week made me want to stay in bed all day. But I couldn’t. I had a baby to take care of. So, mustering up every single ounce of courage and strength inside me, I would peel myself off from my bed, and drag myself to go clean. Day in, day out. For months.
I even started getting headaches from inhaling all the toxic fumes from all the chemical cleaners. What was KILLING ME MORE was that Jasmine was being exposed to these carcinogens and toxins at such a tender young age. I couldn’t stop feeling guilty for choosing that but felt like I didn’t have another choice.
Until… I cleaned a new client’s home with Norwex. She was a Norwex junkie. I couldn’t believe how much easier my job became and I was able to clean faster too! And the best part – NO chemicals, just water! I could finally sleep a little bit better at night knowing I was no longer exposing myself and my sweet baby girl to all those harmful chemicals.
Now, I am working my Norwex business full-time (and stopped cleaning houses 3 months after joining) and loving it! Because Norwex made such a difference not only in my physical health, but also my emotional and psychological well-being, I am determined to share Norwex with everyone.
