Driven by adrenaline, Ollie is the app-controlled robot engineered for speed, programmed for tricks, and customized by you.
MomMomOnTheGo and her Little One have been playing with our brand new Ollie.
I think that the best way to see how awesome Ollie is, is to see their video demonstrating its abilities.
Here are the key features for Ollie:
Experience: Speed, Tricks, Customization
USB Charging (1 HR Drive Time)
4 Apps – Driving, Programming
Drives Over 14 MPH (6M/S)
iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Android
Bluetooth LE (Instant Connect)
Outruns Pets & Hates Water
My Little One loves playing with out Ollie. One of her favorite things she likes to do is to get Ollie going fast and then start it into a spin. The color show from Ollie in a spin is pretty awesome. If you get Ollie spinning, you can then get it up on its hubcap spinning which is also pretty cool.
Ollie is made by Sphero. We have reviewed Sphero and it is different than Ollie as it has a few more APPS that are games for Sphero. Ollie is more of a stunt and trick toy and it is pretty impressive what it can handle. How about jumps and drops.
When you get your Ollie, you have to put his tires and hubcaps on, but it is super easy. You also have to charge your Ollie up with the USB cord. It charges pretty quickly and the charge lasts for about an hour once it is all charged up.
I completely recommend checking out Ollie if you like remote control products. It is a ton of fun to play with and the courses that you can create for Ollie are only limited by your imagination. Ollie definitely makes it onto the MomMomOnTheGo 2014 Christmas Wish List.
There are a ton of accessories for Ollie and we have our eye on the pink tires. Ollie also comes in the traditional white or the Darkside Ollie that is black. You can check out all the accessories including the different Ollies, hubcaps, and tires at the Ollie Store.
