
Playland is back with rides, games, and food for everyone

Vancouver, BC – Playland at the PNE, Vancouver’s iconic amusement park returns with BC’s most exhilarating rides, delicious mini-donuts, and family-friendly fun Saturday, May 4th. Playland gates open to the public at 11:00 am for the 2019 season, so mark your calendars for the unofficial start of summer!
Thrill seekers can choose from over 35 rides and attractions, including Playland’s most historic and beloved attraction, the Wooden Roller Coaster(rated #1 wooden coaster in Canada) and Canada’s most extreme pendulum ride, The Beast. Or take a wild spin on Crazy Beach Party and strap yourself in on the Hellevator, with its fantastic 200-foot free fall!
Family attractions such as the Climbing Wall will keep aspiring alpinists busy or win some prizes at BC’s largest midway, which is open all summer long as well! Buen Gusto Tacos and Totchos, Cheese Please, and Triple O’s returns to provide scrumptious snacks to foodies, while Fundunkers Donut Shop, the Candy Shoppe, S’Luscious and BeaverTails will satisfy everyone’s sweet tooth.
Playland One Day admission passes are currently available online and will give families and thrill seekers access to over 35 rides and attractions, and an assortment of games.Opening Date: May 4th, 2019

Owned by the City of Vancouver, the Pacific National Exhibition (PNE) is a healthy and vibrant non-profit organization dedicated to providing over 3 million visitors a year with first-class cultural, sporting and family entertainment events.
