I recently came across a company called Snap Power. I was so intrigued by their product, I knew that I had to test them out.
I have put two Snap Power products to the test; the SafeLight and the SwitchLight.
Before I give you more details about each product, I can attest to the fact that it literally takes only minutest to install the Snap Power products. I went from the normal outlet and switch covers to Snap Power in minutes and with ease.
Safely Light Your Home
Our easy-to-install, SnapPower SafeLight, safely transforms your outlet into a child friendly night-light. Equipped with sliding outlet covers, it helps prevent children from electrical shocks and hazards.
The Safelight is available in white.
There are settings on the bottom of the Safelight that controlled by a tiny switch to allow you to turn it off, automatic, low, or high.
We have our Safelight in the hallway by all the bedrooms on low as it provides just the right amount of light for the kids to see on their way to the bathroom or to our room at night.
The Safelight gets its name because the outlets are covered once a plug is removed.
SwitchLight Your Home
Our easy-to-install, SnapPower SwitchLight, safely transforms your light switch into a night-light. It requires no wires or batteries and lasts 25+ years!
The Switchlight like the Guidelight is a breeze to install, has a switch for adjusting the settings, said to have a life expectancy of 25 plus years, and costs less than 10 cents a year.
The Switchlight comes in 3 colors: white, light almond, and ivory.
We put the Switchlight in a hallway to offer light as you approach the bathroom and laundry room area. We leave this one on high and it provides enough light down a darker hallway in the basement.
The Snap Power Guidelight and Switchlight are low profile and look great. I am totally in love with them and want them on every outlet and switch in the house.

Also available from Snap Power are Guidelights, which are similar to the Safelight just without the outlet covers when the plug is removed. There is also a USB Charger outlets available. I love the idea of the USB Charger covers….maybe next on my list to check out.
