Spelligator Review & Giveaway

Spelligator Review & Giveaway

December 10, 2012 By MomMomOnTheGo

My family recently got an opportunity to try out Spelligator from Junior Learning for our family fun game night.

Spelligator is exciting new word building game that teaches phonemic awareness, letter patterns and positioning. Covers Letters and Sounds patterns, consonants, vowels, digraphs, and blends. The player who makes the most word wins!

Spelligator is rated for ages 5 to adult. My 5 year old LOVES Spelligator. The age rating is perfect and yes, even adults can have fun playing this game too. Spelligator is an amazing educational game that has your little ones learning and having fun all at the same time. I love products that make learning fun, because when learning is fun, it is easier to learn.

I always judge how much my kids love a product by a two main things……

*Do they want to keep playing the game or do they get bored?
*Do they come back to the game time and again wanting to play it over and over?

My little one who is 5, does not get bored of Spelligator. Right now she is really focused on learning to read and and write and she loves exploring words through the game. Spelligator is also a game that she asks to play again and again. Spelligator is appealing to little ones with alligator letter holders and the amount of pride and confidence that kids get as they accomplish spelling and reading words. It really is a perfect game.

Here is a little bit about Junior Learning and their products as quoted from their website…..

Junior Learning is a leading developer of educational toys and games. By combining the latest educational research with expertise in toy design, Junior Learning’s educational toys and games are world class. They carry the instant ‘wow’ factor for children, yet they are rich in educational and curriculum content. When playing with Junior Learning products, children often don’t even realise they are learning because much of the teaching is happening at an implicit level. Junior Learning makes education fun and accessible for all children. Every Junior Learning product is conceptualized in the classroom, and worked on meticulously with ‘the best of the best’ in toy design to produce a resource that is like no other – strong in educational content, but with the excitement of a real toy. We like to call this – camouflage learning.

We hope you enjoy playing with our toys and games as much as the children do, and as much as we love making them!

MomMomOnTheGo recommends Spelligator as a fun, educational game for your little ones and for family game night.
