Exhibit to debut on December 9th at the BC Sports Hall of Fame

Vancouver, B.C. – This Saturday, December 9th, 2017, the BC Sports Hall of Fame will be unveiling its highly anticipated, limited run exhibit about the beloved CKVU television program, Sports Page.

Sports Page: The Exhibit is an interactive and immersive 950 sq. ft. celebration of one of the most beloved television programs in the history of the province. The exhibit coincides with Sports Page’s 40th anniversary.

Over the decades that it ran Sports Page became one of the most beloved and watched sports programs in Vancouver and the province. Sports Page was famous for injecting its nightly broadcast with elements of authentic personality not normally found in sports news programs, causing it to provoke passionate loyalty amongst the public.

The exhibit will feature dozens of different components, including a re-creation of a Sports Page anchor desk, interactive trivia games, items of memorabilia, inside stories and anecdotes, as well as dedicated section to Yulin’ with the Page, the annual Christmas-themed program, which will showcase the annual “Plays of the Year” footage from the past, in a 1990s era living room, complete with period fireplaces, furniture and Christmas decorations.

Hours: 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily
Location: Gate A of BC Place Stadium (next to Terry Fox Plaza)
Admission: Adults $15; Youth (6-17), Students and Seniors: $12
