MomMomOnTheGo recently saw Strawberry Shortcake Follow Your Berry Own Beat show, with special guests The Doodlebops.
My youngest who is 5 years old loves The Doodlebops and Strawberry Shortcake and she certainly loved the Follow Your Berry Own Beat show. It was really nice that just before the show, two of the Strawberry Shortcake characters appeared in the audience to say hello. Of course, this got all the kids pretty excited.
The Doodlebops came out first and got every one singing with some of their most popular songs. Of course with only a handful of songs and my little one loving The Doodlebops, she was sad when they had to leave the stage. Luckily next up was Strawberry Shortcake. 🙂
The Strawberry Shortcake show was great. Lots of singing and a story-line that my five year old could easily follow. I don’t want to give the show away at all, so all I will say is that there was a problem that the audience could see and of course a solution that my little one was whispering to me. The solution provides a great message of friendship and working together.
At the Venue we attended, being the Surrey Bell Centre for Performing Arts, there was not a bad seat in the house. It also appeared to be a sold out show.
The memorabilia at the show was reasonably priced in my opinion as far as shows go. Memorabilia usually tends to be a little higher priced at all shows after all. At our Venue, you needed cash if you wished to purchase any memorabilia. I notice this is a constant theme with Koba Entertainment shows, so remember to tuck a little bit of cash in your wallet before going to the show.
There was only one time my little one was disappointment with something and that was at the end of the show. She indicated that she was upset that The Doodlebops did not come out again to say good bye with the cast of Strawberry Shortcake.

If you have a Strawberry Shortcake fan in the house then I recommend the Strawberry Shortcake Follow Your Berry Own Beat show. I loved Strawberry Shortcake as a kid and I even enjoyed seeing the show. I thought that Strawberry Shortcake was by far the best character and actor for the entire show. Gotta love Strawberry Shortcake.
