When I first had my daughter, I loved the drop in sleeves that came along with the Playtex bottles. They seemed so convenient when I needed a bottle. I did breastfeed my daughter, but in the beginning I was not making enough milk so I had to supplement her with formula. Luckily it did not take too long for my milk production to catch up with my daughter’s demand, but when I needed a bottle I turned to the Playtex plastic bottle with the drop in sleeve. I honestly loved these Playtex bottles. Then one day, the news broke of Bisphenol A also commonly known as BPA.

With the news of BPA, some stores were clearing their shelves of products that had this dangerous ingredient in them. Some stores seemed to have some of the products on their shelves though and I just did not know who or what I could trust anymore. So I made a decision. I was only going to use glass bottles.
