THE FAIR AT THE PNE UNVEILS SPECTACULAR NEW ENTERTAINMENT LINEUP Vancouver, BC – For over 100 years, fairgoers from across BC and around the world have made The Fair at the PNE their annual end of summer tradition and British Columbia’s most popular ticketed event. This year, the PNE is thrilled to announce the most diverse entertainment package in the history of the PNE including, for the first time in North American fair history, one of the most beloved Broadway plays of all time, Peter Pan.

Summer Night Concerts
This year’s Summer Night Concerts feature an exciting array of artists that are sure to please fans of all genres. Pop stars, Country favorites, R&B icons, and Rock ‘N’ Roll legends, will all be showcased at the 2015 Concert series.
The Summer Night Concerts will run every evening starting on Saturday August 22nd in the PNE Amphitheatre, and are FREE with admission to the Fair. For super fans, the PNE will be offering reserved seating at each of the shows starting Saturday May 23, at 10:00am; fans should visit PNE.ca for details.

The Magical History Tour: The Beatles Memorabilia Exhibition will be making its world premiere on the Fairs opening day August 22, which also happens to be the 51st anniversary of the Beatles historic concert at the Fair in 1964. Guests will be able to explore the entire Beatles story through an inspirational journey of creativity, curiosity, and love. This one-of-a-kind experience will present the most extensive Beatles memorabilia ever assembled in a tour.Craft Beer Festival

The Fair at the PNE is excited to feature a new and exciting area, the Craft Beer Festival. This licensed area will feature 20 local craft brewers each week for guests to sample the diverse craft beers being developed in the Lower Mainland. Twenty vendors will be featured between August 22-30, and a new group of 20 vendors from September 1-7.Dinosaurs Alive! A Jurassic Experience

This new outdoor exhibit will offer guests a spectacular and representative snapshot of thirteen different dinosaurs that roamed the Earth during the Jurassic and Cretaceous Periods. Featuring eight life-sized animatronic models and five static models, the exhibit will teach fairgoers about the dinosaurs stories and share recent discoveries for the Fair’s younger guests.The Superhero Discovery Centre: The Hall of Heroes Exhibit

The inaugural PNE Donut Dash 5km presented by TRY EVENTS is Vancouver’s tastiest 5km run where runners will be re-energized with tasty Fair treats throughout the course including mini donuts, cotton candy and more! About the PNE
Owned by the City of Vancouver, the Pacific National Exhibition (PNE) is a healthy and vibrant non-profit charity organization dedicated to providing over 3 million visitors a year with first-class cultural, sporting and family entertainment events. Founded in 1910, the PNE operates from a 114-acre site at Hastings Park, a multi-facility venue in Vancouver where the organization operates four activity streams: an annual 15-day Fair, Playland Amusement Park, maintenance and care of the Hastings Park site and management of the site’s year-round facilities. The Fair at the PNE is saluting the brave community members who put their lives on the line at this year’s Heroes’ Opening Weekend, on August 22 and 23. Current or retired Canadian ambulance workers, firefighters, military personnel, police, RCMP, coast guard, and search & rescue may show their valid first responder ID at the gates to receive free entry with 1 guest, to The Fair on Heroes’ Weekend. Fair goers can expect unique programming and displays on site to highlight the work of first responders all weekend long.
“Service members and first responders are true heroes, so we want to do what we can to honour these brave community members with The Heroes’ Opening Weekend and show our gratitude for their service,” said PNE President and CEO Mike McDaniel.
New to this year’s Fair, Canadian first responders plus a GUEST will receive free admission August 22 and 23.
