My family went to see The Magic of Santa yesterday afternoon. The show was spectacular and we all loved it. As the show was ending and everyone was taking their turn to wave to the audience and bow, my 5 year old leaned over to me and said, “Mom, I loved this show. Can we see it again.”
About The Show
The Magic of Santa follows young Emily as she searches for her very own Christmas Wish. With help from Rudy, Mrs Clause, Skitter the Mouse and other loveable, characters, join Emily in discovering the wonder of Santa’s Magic!
Featuring dancing Christmas trees, rocking reindeer, original music and dynamic production numbers, The Magic of Santa is a family holiday experience not to be missed.
We all loved the pre-show entertainment which was a group who came out and sang a few Christmas Carols and other popular songs. It got the audience all warmed up and ready for the show. What I loved about the pre-show was that it made the wait for the show to start go by quickly and therefore I did not have to answer when the show was going to start every two seconds 🙂
I have to say that the young girl who played Emily did an amazing job. What a talented little girl and we all loved her performance. Congratulations to her.
Overall, all the characters in the show were awesome and entertaining. From a dancing Christmas Tree to the jolly guy himself, they all provided an amazing performance that got the audience involved and excited about the show and story line.
There was memorabilia that was available to purchase. A CD of the songs was available along with the light up magical wand Santa used, reindeer antlers that lit up and little plush dolls. I have to admit that in the scheme of the cost of memorabilia, I found that the prices at The Magic of Santa were reasonable for sure. I was quite surprised that there was not a program to purchase. I was very curious at to who some of the actors were, such as the little one that played Emily and would have loved to been able to review the details in a program. I love programs as memorabilia items because they usually have wonderful photos to look back on.
In the end, our family totally agreed that The Magic of Santa is definitely a new tradition for our family.
