Chimp and Science World Invite Families to Explore the Science of Giving on Family Day
“The Science of Giving”Vancouver, BC (February 3, 2015) – On Monday, February 9, 2015, Science World and Chimp welcome families to explore how they change the world with charitable giving.
The one-day special event, powered by Chimp, gives parents and children an opportunity to explore causes they care about, participate in a charitable scavenger hunt, leave a meaningful mark on the world and learn how to make charitable giving part of everyday living.
“Every parent wants to raise kind, caring and generous kids,” said Chimp CEO John Bromley. “By getting kids involved in charitable giving, we can teach them that they can make the world better with their actions.”
All proceeds raised on Family Day will be doubled (up to $25,000), and will support Wonder – Science World’s new early learner’s gallery – a space designed to nurture the imaginations and curiosities of our youngest learners, infants to kindergarten-aged children.

The Science of Giving takes place at Science World at TELUS World of Science in Vancouver on Monday, February 9, 2015 from 10 am to 6 pm. Suggested donation is $25 per family of four. Advance registration is available online at http://chimp.net/scienceworld.
