I have reviewed a number of books from Jaimie Engle and have always been swept off my feet with her ability to tell a story and her overall writing skills. Jaimie is able to tell a story that you get swept into the world and never want to leave. Putting a Jaimie Engle book down is almost impossible. There is a sense of withdrawal from the magically woven words, that tell an even more magical story.
When I heard that Jaimie Engle had a new book being released I knew that I had to read it. This latest Jaimie Engle book is different from the other ones that I have reviewed. The latest book is called The Toilet Papers and it is an 183-page book comprised of a collection of short stories.
The Toilet Papers is divided into three story lengths and divided into sections to match the approximate bathroom trip visits. There are the shortest stories that are in the section labeled Number One, the medium length stories that are in the section labeled Number Two, and the longest stories in the section labeled FarFrom-Poopin.
The Toilet Papers is not recommended for ages under 16 years old. This is an anthology of stories for adults and each story falls into categories such as fantasy, science fiction, adventure, horror, and of course humor. Jaimie will have you laughing, scared, excited, and more with all of her stories.
The stories in The Toilet Papers are all written by Jaimie Engle and have been previously published in magazines, anthologies, or her books. For example, The Outlander which is a selection from Dreadlands: Wolf Moon.
If you are a fan of Jaimie Engle and her majestical style of writing, then The Toilet Papers will give you a wide sample of entertaining reads.
Whether you have a few minutes, or a few hours, The Toilet Papers anthology will have a story just long enough to keep you entertained.
