We recently had the amazing opportunity to go see The Wiggles Celebration show. If you were wondering why the show is called Celebration, it is because they are celebrating 21 years of The Wiggles. This tour is also the last one where the original Wiggles will be together. I know, that is very sad news and my little one was actually crying about it. She still brings up how much she will miss the original Wiggles.
I am sure now you want to know who is leaving…….Well, it is easier to say who is staying! The blue Wiggle, Anthony will be staying to heard up the new Wiggles. Captain Feathersword will be staying as well. So the Yellow, Red and Purple Wiggles are retiring. I will talk about who is replacing them in a bit, but first I have to tell you about how amazing their last show was.
If you are a parent, you are often watching “kids” shows over and over again. If you sit and think, you probably realize that many of them you start to tune out because well, they are kids shows and not really something that interests us. I can tell you for sure that the Wiggles Celebration show was something that I enjoyed as much as my little one. My little one and I were singing, dancing, screaming for Jeff to wake up. We had an absolutely amazing time. Honestly, I cannot even find words to express how awesome the show was.
The Wiggles did not leave anything out in their Celebration show. They made sure to sing all the familiar and popular songs, they danced, joked, and addressed the audience. The Wiggles even walked in the audience. They made sure to have their “5th Wiggle” come up to sing with them, which brought tears to my eyes. I love their caring nature and compassion. Dorothy the Dinosaur, Henry the Octopus, Wags the Dog and of course Captain Feathersword were all there. We even got a sneak peak at the new Wiggles.
It is easier to say that The Wiggles left nothing out of their show. It was breathtaking. If The Wiggles Celebration Tour is coming to a City near you, I highly recommend you take your family. I am sure you will leave the show feeling great, singing and smiling. It is amazing.
Here is a message from The Wiggles. I have to admit, I am sure going to miss the “old” Wiggles, but I was definitely encourage and excited by the performance that the “new” Wiggles put on in the show.
