Thomas & Friends are rolling in on a royal adventure in their new, 62 minute, feature length, King of the Railway movie now available on DVD and Blu-Ray.
Sitting right beside me is our copy of Thomas & Friends King of the Railway. From the moment the commercial came on TV, my Little One wanted to see King of the Railway and so did I. King of the Railway is a Knightly adventure where Thomas & Friends discover suits of armor, coats of armor and legend of long ago heroes, all on an adventure that tests their bravery and explores a mystery. Thomas & Friends also meet new friends in King of the Railway including Stephen, Millie, Connor and Caitlin.
I love to spend time with my Little One and share in experiences, adventures and her interests. Sometimes we are coloring, sometimes we are playing and sometimes we just curl up and enjoy a show together. Popcorn, a blanket and a great movie like King of the Railway is the perfect way to spend a rainy day with your Little One. I love the cuddles and moments that these times provide. 🙂
I think that one of the aspects that makes Thomas & Friends so appealing to kids is the characters. The creators of Thomas & Friends have really worked at creating characters beyond the “star” of the show. The characters come to life with personality and help tap into imaginative play for children. I really notice how Thomas & Friends taps into children’s imaginative play when we go to a local store here that has a Thomas & Friends train table and trains out for kids to play with. Kids of all ages and gender flock to that train table. Each child seems to get drawn to a certain character and among them, an adventure all of their own creation comes to life.
What character does your Little One get drawn to in Thomas & Friends? is there a Thomas & Friends character that reminds you of your Little One?
When the movie ends and the TV goes off, your Little One’s knightly adventure can continue with the Thomas & FriendsTM TrackmasterTM Castle Quest Set.
