WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 25th IS PINK SHIRT DAY!
A day where kids are encouraged to wear pink to help raise awareness for anti-bullying. The day was created by two high school students in Nova Scotia after a fellow student was being bullied for wearing pink to school.
Did you know that 85% of bullying takes place in front of others but when somebody stands up to bullying, while it’s taking place, it’s likely to stop within 10 seconds of intervention?
Well Toys“R”Us loves kids, so we’re taking a stand against bullying and proudly supporting Pink Shirt Day in all of our stores across Canada.
Join Toys R Us for Play Day at 11 a.m on Saturday February 21st and receive a free “Be a Buddy, Not a Bully” pink t-shirt that you can wear to school on the 25th!
(Max 100 shirts per store. Max 50 shirts per Express location. Limit 1 per child. Kids sizes only. Starting at 11 a.m – while they last.)
