Every year MomMomOnTheGo and family heads out to the Vancouver Christmas Market as one of our favorite Christmas stops. There is a lot we love about the Vancouver Christmas Market, but my Little One would tell you that her favorites are the carousel, chocolate covered strawberries and cream puffs, and the fruit shapes and scented soaps. We also love looking at all the wonderful crafts and ornaments. It is a wonderful atmosphere that helps put you in the Christmas spirit.
Here are my tips to maximizing your enjoyment for a night out at the Vancouver Christmas Market…
*Dress for the weather as almost everything is outside.
*There is a bank machine on site if you need cash as everything is cash only. It is easier to go with cash already on hand so you save the extra atm fee.
*Go on the carousel as it is fun.
*Get your tickets online so you can go right in as there is often a line up.
*Pay the extra $1 and turn your admission into a season’s pass.
*Bring hand sanitizer as there are only port-a-potties and all of them were out of hand sanitizer when we were there.
*Take your time and wonder around checking out all the wonderful items at each of the vendors as they are spectacular.
*Have some food there as it is delicious and a wonderful treat.
*Park under the QE Theatre as the parking seems to be cheaper there than the large public parking lot across the street.
