Another Christmas tradition in our house is to head on down to the Vancouver Christmas Market. There are so many reasons that we like to head to the market; from amazing food to awesome vendors, and of course the spectacular carousel rides.

There are so many vendors at the Christmas Market that I could not possibly list them all here. I can certainly tell you about our absolute favorites though…
Schweinshaxe is a large pork shank, roasted on a special rotisserie until it’s crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Popular during Octoberfest, these Bavarian-style pork hocks are perfect anytime you want something traditionally German and wonderfully delicious!
