Western Canadian Duo Orchard Sky Announce New Single and B.C. Tour Dates

July 18, 2025 By MomMomOnTheGo

“Broken Hearted People” Set for Release on July 18

Tour Dates Include Vancouver Folk Music Festival, Canada Day in Langley, and CR Live

(Vancouver, B.C.) – Southern Roots inspired country duo Orchard Sky is set to deliver their newest single – a stirring anthem that dives deep into resilience, heartbreak, and moving forward – this summer on Friday, July 18.

“Broken Hearted People” captures the quiet ache of heartbreak and the longing for a place to disappear, to heal, and to feel understood. The moody country-pop ballad asks the timeless question: where do all the broken hearted go? Produced by award-winning Canadian country music producer Bart McKay, and featuring Krystle Dos Santos’ rich, emotive vocals along with Mitch Smith’s evocative slide guitar, “Broken Hearted People” weaves a vivid landscape of longing and late night solace in neon lights.

Orchard Sky is bringing a bold new sound to country, blending gritty slide guitar, powerhouse vocals, and deeply honest songwriting. Their current single, “Good Intentions”, has made waves on country radio across Canada, showcasing the band’s knack for heartfelt storytelling and infectious hooks. With the soulful Krystle Dos Santos leading on vocals and the unmistakable touch of Mitch Smith on slide guitar, Orchard Sky delivers a sound that’s both timeless and refreshingly modern.

Concertgoers can experience the electrifying presence of Orchard Sky this summer in B.C. on the following dates:

July 1:              Canada Day in the Township of Langley (McLeod Athletic Park | Free Show)

July 19:            Vancouver Folk Music Festival (Jericho Beach Park | Ticketed Show)

July 23:            Campbell River Live Street Festival (Tidemark Theatre | Free Show)

July 31:            Summer Nights in the Township (Willoughby Community Park | Free Show)
