About Winx Club
Something truly magical has happened to Bloom, an ordinary girl who discovers she’s really a fairy with extraordinary powers! Bloom learns to use her magical powers at the finest fairy school in all the realms, Alfea College. At Alfea, she meets her new best friends, Stella, Flora, Musa, Tecna and Aisha, and forms the Winx Club. Together, they study hard in school, hang out at their favorite spots in Magix and go on lots of exciting adventures. When faced with trouble, they transform into beautiful fairies and save the world from all sorts of villains, like The Trix, a trio of evil witches. But for these six fairies, nothing can defeat their powerful magic and even stronger friendship. Get ready to feel the magic!
Winx Club is Nickelodeon’s first girl-targeted animated show, which is a modern fantasy adventure series following six fashion forward best friends (Bloom, Stella, Flora, Musa, Tecna, Aisha) who attend the finest fairy school in all the realms, Alfea College.
The WINX characters represent today’s modern girl. Relying on their strength, smarts and teamwork, they are heroines that girls relate to. Savvy and smart, the WINX are also playful and fashion forward. Positive messaging and girl empowerment is what the Winx Club epitomizes and their guiding principles that appeal to girls are self-expression, friendship, adventure, magic and fashion.
When trouble arises, the Winx Club transforms into beautiful fairies who use their magical powers to fight villains and save the world from evil. Each fairy has a unique power that not only helps define her as an individual, but helps her defeat villains. Also, each fairy has her own personality traits and hobbies, so there is really a character for every girl to relate to.
Fans can now collect all the Winx Club fairies and relive their magical adventures with the new line of dolls, playsets and role-play items. Each Winx doll comes with a magical membership card that unlocks exclusive content at the online Winx Club.
Nickelodeon will partner with Rainbow to co-develop and co-produce Season Five of Winx Club. Season Five will launch in 2012 throughout Canada on YTV and Nickelodeon Canada. Prior to launching the new season of Winx Club, Nickelodeon introduced the series on the networks in 2011 by airing four hour-long animated specials based on season four.
My little one was already familiar with Winx from watching the shows. We have a Winx DVD and we often have a Winx marathon in our house. My little one will explain everything Winx to you with great detail and animation. She loves the Winx fairies and really loves the WinxClub 11.5” Deluxe Believix Dolls: Bloom, Stella, Flora, Musa, Tecna, & Aisha that she has.
The WinxClub deluxe dolls have been made with amazing detail. Beautiful colors, detail and working wings keep my little one going for hours of fairy fun and adventure with her favorite Winx characters.
